Supported Living FAQ

Answers to the questions people ask us most about supported living and care at home.

Frequently asked questions

Who do you support?
We support adults aged 18–65 with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, along with other associated needs such as communication difficulties and behaviours that challenge.
What is supported living?
Supported living means having your own home and tenancy while receiving personalised support to live as independently as possible. It is about much more than accommodation.
Do you provide nursing care?
No. We do not provide nursing care, but we work closely with health professionals involved in each person’s care.
Is there a time limit on support?
No. Our services have no time limits, and support adapts as each person’s needs change.
How is care planned?
Every person has an Individual Care & Support Plan and Person-Centred Planning (PCP), developed with them and the people who matter to them.
How is support funded?
Support can be funded by local authorities, NHS Continuing Healthcare, direct payments or privately. See our costs page or call us to talk it through.
Where do you provide support?
We support people across the UK, with our head office in Sale, Manchester. See our offices.
How do I get started?
Call us on 07362 314628 or send an enquiry. We’re available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
