The care role
Daily duties encompass a variety of tasks, including:
Personal Assistance:
– Assisting with dressing
– Facilitating washing and personal hygiene
– Preparing meals and assisting with eating
– Grocery shopping
– Housekeeping chores
– Accompanying clients to medical or other appointments
Medical Assistance:
– Providing reminders to take medication or assisting with medication administration
– Offering full-time support for clients requiring specialist care
In addition to these responsibilities, as a carer, you will also provide clients with companionship, engage in activities to stimulate their minds, and assist them in maintaining their independence.
